The series Aqua Deep is an exploration of how any everyday mobile phone can empower an individual as to how they would like to be represented in society.
In the medieval era self portraiture (sculptures, paintings and etching) now a days considered selfies were popular amongst artists. In today's modern world, technology and social networking sites have provided society with the tools to create self portraitures to be able to be perceived how they wish.
The Aqua Deep images were produced using a Nokia Lumia phone and altered and manipulated using a variety of apps. The images lack in quality though when viewed from a distance the subject outweighs the lack of traditional photography technique.
