An hour had passed… than another… the frustration and uncertainty had taken over.
Erupted is an imaginary landscape composed of an indigo blue sky and an active body of water. The expressive waves were created by using a palette knife.
The soft pale yellow plays as a background and strengthens the visibility of the crackling effect produced by the non binding acrylic, oil and goauche paints.

The soft delicate sky above me slowly started to part and a subtle path to the unknown appeared. She took my hand and showed me the way. The light was bright and calming, I felt at home. My colour palette for Paving the way was made up of pastels, the textured skies were created by using a palette knife and occasionally smoothing down areas by blending colours with my fingers

I was sitting in a studio in Cité internationale des arts in Paris, it was a cold dark grey evening. I looked out the window, Paris was in a metamorphic state. Vibrant shades of green started gradually sweeping over the city and mesmerizing fuchsia petals were swirling down the streets enriching the Parisian airs with excitement.
It was enchanting… It was romantic… It was how I imagined Paris would be.
Swept away was a landscape that was only visible in my mind, I painted Swept away with palette knives and acrylic paint.
